Pilgrimage to France
Our Lady of Lourdes
Catholic Pilgrimage to France
The “eldest daughter of the church” is a land that has birthed many saints devoted to Our Lady. Visit the shrines of St. John Vianney, St. Therese of Lisieux, and the Sacred Heart. The healing waters of Lourdes will soothe your soul before participating in the famous candlelight Rosary walk to the grotto at the Sanctuary of Our Lady of Lourdes. Treasures await in the grand city of Paris and the Palace of Versailles. A pilgrimage to France will certainly draw you into the history and life of the Catholic Church as you follow the footsteps of saints and notable Catholics.
"The experience has changed me in a way that is difficult to explain. I have told my friends and family that taking a pilgrimage is something everyone should do if they want to experience an increase in faith and understanding of what God wants from us. "
- Emma P., Pilgrim from Alabama
PARIS PILGRIMAGE SITES
Paris beckons with centuries of Catholic history and beloved shrines. Experience the scriptures in stained glass in Sainte-Chapelle and marvel at the miracles of the Miraculous Medal at the shrine of the same name. Venerate St. Catherine Laboure and St. Vincent de Paul, and visit the church of the Sacred Heart and more, as you delve into all the faith-filled sites and shrines.
Arc de Triomphe
The Arc de Triomphe is one of the most famous monuments in Paris. Standing in the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle, at the western end of the Champs-Élysées, it honors those who fought and died for France in the French Revolution and the Napoleonic Wars. The names of all French victories and generals are inscribed on its inner and outer surfaces. Beneath its vault lies the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier from World War I.
Champs-Elysees
With its cinemas, cafés, luxury specialty shops and clipped horse-chestnut trees, the Champs-Élysées is one of the most famous streets – and most expensive strips of real estate – in the world. Several French monuments are also on the street, including the Arc de Triomphe and the Place de la Concorde. The name is French for Elysian Fields, the place of the blessed dead in Greek mythology. The Champs-Élysées is known as “the most beautiful avenue in the world.”
Chapel of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal
It was in this chapel where St. Catherine Laboure received visions from Our Lady that instructed her to create and distribute the Miraculous Medal. This chapel is inside the motherhouse of the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul on 140 Rue du Bac.
"This was our second pilgrimage with Tekton and we have experienced so many beautiful sites! Our guides have gone above and beyond! We have been blessed with our pilgrimages! "

GREATER FRANCE: MORE SACRED SITES AND SHRINES IN FRANCE
France is home to many beloved saints, including St. Therese of Lisieux, St. John Vianney, and St. Joan of Arc. Journey into the lives of these saints and more as you traverse the French countryside to such cities of Ars, Rouen, and Orleans. Experience the miracles of the bath at Lourdes and marvel at the architectural wonders of Mont-St.-Michel and the cathedral of Chartres.
"The pilgrimage was fantastic, there is no way to experience so much without taking the trip through a tour service. I was absolutely amazed at how much we were able to see and do. The day we arrived we were quickly on our way to all the scheduled stops for day 2. Very impressed from the very start. "
- Emma P., Pilgrim from Alabama
