Unique Pilgrimage Experiences
Oberammergau 2030
In 1633, in the midst of a world-wide pandemic, the villagers of Oberammergau, Germany, made a promise to God to commemorate His Passion in the form of a play in return for relief from the plague. The pandemic subsided and the villagers kept their promise. In 2030, this once-in-a-decade pilgrimage opportunity returns.
World Youth Day 2027
Held every three or so years, the next World Youth Day will take place in Seoul, South Korea in 2027. This unique pilgrimage invites young people (typically ages 16-30) from around the world to an encounter with the global church and the Holy Father. Catechesis and daily Mass round out the WYD pilgrimage experience.
